Thanks for reading! This one is short, and darker than Data Dragon Danika. It seemed to suit the Halloween contest theme, so I went ahead and put it into words to share. You may wonder why "she" and "her cat" are never named... It's because this may turn out to be the prequil to a future, much longer tale. Or it may not... I just have a few ideas for now.
