Chapter 22: Revelation
When they arrived at Qinghe, disciples from different sect and clan walked in and out. Once thet went inside, injured individuals laid on the ground as others tried to help aid them.
It didn't take long to spot Yanli who was tending on a wounded person, Chun didn't want to ruin their reunion so she kept to herself and stood back. Wei Wuxian walked up to her crouched position "Shijie" her hand paused as she slowly turned around. Relief washed over her at the sight of him as she stood "Xianxian" she held his hand
Yanli excused herself and pulled on We Wuxian as Jiang Cheng trailed behind them. They reached one of the halls where they sat. Their tear filled reunion was something that made Chun's heart ache. Yanli embraces Wei Wuxian as they savor the feeling of comfort.
Chun turns to leave "Wei-xiong!" a familiar voice neared they location. In sudden panic, she hid behind one of the curtains. Nie Huaisang accompanied by Ling Wu went in and gathered around Wei Wuxian.
Huaisang kneeled beside him "I heard you came back. It's really you!" Wei Wuxian toom notice of Ling Wu's protruding stomach "A-Are you pregnant?" she rest a hand on her belly "I'm almost at my 6th month" his eyes landed on Huaisang in disbelief "Eh? Wei-xiong you really think that way? It's not me, it's Xue's child but if you also want, I can find you someone suitable as a gift for your return"
Jiang Cheng pulls Huaisang "That's enough. You've talked too much. Get out" he struggles from being dragged away "Wait! I also heard someone dressed in black came with you two"
This made them stop, the two looked around 'Didn't we come in with Chun?..' the so called woman in black walked out of her hiding spot.
"..Chun!" the three exclaimed.
"It's been awhile" she softly smiles at them.
Ling Wu immediately hugs Chun "Why didn't you come back and visit" she pulls away.
Chun pats here head "Well I'm here now aren't I? And I told you not to strain yourself or it'll be bad for you and your baby"
"Wait how did you.." Huaisang finally pieced the fragments "Ling-jie, that time you went home crying..the letters you were recieving..."
The pregnant woman nods "It was Chun. She wanted me to go with her but I can't just leave Qinghe" Chun wasn't in the mood to be questioned so she starts to lightly pull Ling Wu with her to leave "Don't be mad at Ling, I told her not to tell anyone. Now I need something to talk about with her"
"I'm having a banquet for tonight!" Huaisang shouts to them.

Last night's banquet in the main hall of unlcean realm was attended by some clan leaders and disciples yet Chun didn't see the need to go. She spent the night watching over Ling Wu.
Lan Xichen arrived the next morning. There was a meeting that requires almost every present prominent cultivators. Jiang Cheng and Chun met halfway to the meeting room.
"Where's Wei Ying?"
"I can't find him. At such important times, he still acts carefree"
Walking in, people were already gathered around the table "Althought we're not holding an official conference. Isn't Wei Wuxian a little overweening?" Jin Yaliang looks at the others and Jin Zixun agrees "We waited so long for him on account of killing Wen Chao. Chifeng-zun, you've slain Wen Xu. Meritorious as he is, he still has no rights to let us wait"
Chun let out an exasperated sigh "So this is when your illegitimacy kicks in huh. Such kiss up. Why not try do something worthy of praise for you to talk about instead of spewing words of jealousy" the two Jin who just spoke glares at her "A support at Chongyang? Like you have room to talk" Yaliang chuckled.
"I did that much without a sword. I don't think you'll last long if you were in that situation" Zixun scorns at her "You tramp-"
"Enough!" Mingjue interrupts them. After having to cool down, they proceed with the meeting "Now that Wen Ruohan lost both his sons, he's like an armless man. Our only concern before sticking together to conquer Qishan is the leader of Xian Clan, Bing Kai. He has been missing after Wen Xu was beheaded, we can only assume that they're scheming something that'll surely be their trump card. We can't also charge in Luzhou since his wife took the matters there in her hand"
Giggling broke the serious atmosphere "You really have no shame, do you think this is a laughing matter!" Yaliang yells at Chun who waves her hand "Well, no, not at all" she grinned "I'm sorry for not mentioning it earlier but you don't need to worry about the current so called Xian Clan" what she said confused them. Xichen was the one to voice their thoughts "Lady Jie, what do you mean by that?"
"Leave Luzhou Sect out of your plan"
"Ha! You returned to spy on us! You're colluding with them aren't you, I knew something was up when you just appear so suddenlly" Zixun was about to unsheath his sword but Chun ignores him "What good would come out if I join forces with them? I'm only trying to say that I'll be the one taking care of matters at Luzhou, I'll make sure no disciples at Luzhou would hinder your plan on taking down Qishan so proceed as you see fit"
Yaliang snorts "How would we be so sure that you're not setting up a trap?"
"I'll discuss this with Leader Nie, if I'm trying to deceive you I'll have my head cut off or be imprisoned. If not then I suppose you have nothing more to lose on agreeing" nobody dared to say anything, Mingjue clears his throat "Very well. After this conference, I'll be interrogating her myself. For now let us focus on the matter at hand. Conquering Qishan"
Almost an hour had passed on discussing various strategies and their divided forces "Without his sons, no one is capable of leading troops. Only the army of Qishan remains...However, Wen Rouhan has tens and thousands of well-trained soldiers which means we need to come up with an efficient way to avoid a losing battle"
The doors suddenly opened and Wei Wuxian walks in, he salutes before speaking "Clan Leader Nie. I have an idea" he heard the last part of discussion before walking in "What is it?" Jin Zixuan asked. "If I remembered correctly, there's a black iron sword on Mt. Muxi" Chun turn to him "The one that sank in the water?" he nods "Buried for years after claiming massive amount of lives absorbed their resentment. If we find it, it's to our advantage..." an uncomfortable silence fell over them as it was a suggestion of using "evil" method.
Mingjie nods "I'll send some people with you to search for it. The rest of the faction should focus on claiming those lands that are still ruled over by Wen Clan. That is all" Chun tugs on jiang Cheng and Xichen's sleeve "I would also like to have a word with you" once most of them left, it was only the Lan, Mingjue, and the Jiang who were in the hall, even Huaisang was dismissed with the others.
Mingjue pulls out something from a secret compartment "Before you tell us anything, I'd like to return your swords" Chun bows and takes the two familiar weapon. Everyone took a seat while she stood infront of them, they shivered after her array was activated "I apologise if that startled you. I don't want anyone listening to us" they hesitantly nod.
"As I said before, I'll be the one taking care of the issues in Luzhou. I'll keep them controlled until the Sunshot Campaign is over"
"And why are you doing this? You can't solely carry out such action against a whole sector" Xichen expressed his concern "We can take them both down together" Mingjue added.
"Like you said, QishanWen have tens and thousands people. If you add the numbers of those in Luzhou, we're only asking for a death march. The best course of action is detaining one while taking down the other" Mingjue nods at the plausible idea "But detaining them would greatly lessen our people that would fight at Qishan"
Chun shook her head "I'll only need a few that can be trained, give me half a month or until Wei Ying finds the black iron sword, then you can proceed with your business at Qishan. My only goal is to takedown those at Luzhou" Wei Wuxian sigh "Why are you so adamant on Luzhou Sect. And a month? Restraining people there wouldn't be as easy as you think" She pulls out a sword from her qiankun pouch and their eyes widened.
Wangji mutters, "Bing Kai's sword" Jiang Cheng remembered the statement of a Xian disciple at Chongyang "Nightless City...How did you get that?"
She bows "Let me reintroduce myself. I'm Xian Chun, the true Clan Leader of Xian in Luzhou" their jaw almost dropped at what she said.
"...They said that the main bloodline vanished years ago so the only branch left was the one to assume the position" Wangji stated. It hits him and Wei Wuxian "This energy circle or array of yours..only a those from the main lineage have the possibility to be blessed by their founding God and Powerful Entity" Wangji nods
The three looked at them "How did you know she has the blessing. Did you encounter anyone from the Zhong Clan? They also disappeared half a year after the main Xian died" Xichen asked "No. During our time trapped in Mt. Muxi, she often uses it" Wangji explained "How come I didn't think much of it" Wei Wuxian was baffled.
Jiang Cheng, "Is that why you want to personally handle Luzhou?" she smiled "Yes. And I already have the foe on my hand, all I need now is to capture his woman and take back what is rightfully mine" he somewhat knew how she felt "Then I'll support you"
"I'll trust your words" Mingjue smiled feeling that she had grown up so much.
"Oh one more thing, I'll be taking Ling Wu with me. She'll be safer at where I'm staying"
When the Lan and Mingjue left, Chun faces the two "I won't ask you to neglect your duty as a leader but I would also like you, Wei Ying, and Yanli-jie to come with us" Jiang Cheng was sceptic "Why would we be needed?" she nods "It's something important, we'll leave in an hour. I'll wait for you three at the gates, I'll talk to Leader Nie about this" with that said, she went to look for Ling Wu.
