Chapter 54: 54: Time of the month

For the first time, Princess Yunjin was dressed in a colour other than white. 

Her black clothes complimented her skin tone and made the princess's blond hair shine brighter. It was almost impossible to tell this was the same princess Sui had seen.

'Wow! This colour suits the princess. But I wonder what brought about this change? No, wait! I should not be thinking that the princess looks good in black. I am sure that the princess would not want that either.'

Sui had a complete monologue, but the princess did not say anything.

The princess's only reaction to Sui's silence was a long look of amusement before waking past her and into her office.

"We will return to the Village today for a follow-up investigation. It will be only the two of us this time, so you must pretend I am not the princess, alright?"

Sui's breath hitched, and her heart skipped a few beats when she heard what the princess said to her.
