Chapter 92: Chapter 92 Another Encounter with Tony!

The NYPD returned from Sykes Corporation with a major victory.

The Foot Clan was destroyed!

Their leader, Shredder, had been captured!

The onlookers outside, buzzing with curiosity, reveled in the new gossip. Many had even caught a glimpse of Batman, which left them thrilled.

George, however, didn't immediately return to the precinct with the Task Force. Instead, he accompanied the turtles into the sewers, arriving at their dojo—their home since childhood.

There, he met a humanoid rat.

With a mix of apprehension and curiosity, George spoke with Splinter.

After a brief conversation, George left the dojo reassured, the four turtles following him.

Together, they openly entered the NYPD headquarters.

At the same time, George remembered seeing Eddie during the operation at Sykes Corporation.

The news of the turtles joining the NYPD needed to be shared through credible media outlets to inform the public about the police force changes and their impressive new recruits.

So, he made a call to The Daily Bugle.

Eddie, dragging Phil along, hurried to the NYPD, documenting the entire process and even conducting an exclusive interview with the turtles.

The next day.

The news of the turtles joining the NYPD dominated headlines, overshadowing the lingering buzz from the Green Goblin incident.

Photos showed the four turtles striking dynamic combat poses.

In The Daily Bugle exclusive interview, the turtleThe Foot Clan backstory was revealed, and the public gave them a name: "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles."

Though the turtles were unfamiliar to the citizens of New York, their unique appearance was too striking to ignore.

Just like during the Lizard incident, many were initially skeptical.

If not for official assurances, few would have believed these fearsome-looking creatures were heroes.

The public was abuzz with discussions.

Many media outlets conducted secret interviews with NYPD members, finding that the officers overwhelmingly supported the turtle inclusion.

Meanwhile, The Daily Bugle added fuel to the fire with another major reveal:

The turtles were Batman protégés!

It was reported that during the NYPD operation, the turtles played a significant role, and Batman had appeared because he was training them.

Netizens were electrified, debating the implications endlessly.

The turtles themselves, however, paid little attention to the online chatter.

They were savoring their newfound life under the sun.

George had even arranged an office for them at the NYPD and converted a sewer entrance near the parking lot into their private access point.

The turtles were thoroughly enjoying their new lifestyle.

As for Anton, the other key figure in these events, he had already flown to Los Angeles overnight to attend the premiere of the Cyborg movie.

After a not-too-lengthy production process, the film was finally ready for release.

On Jim suggestion, Anton casually sent an invitation to Tony Stark.

Whether Stark would actually show up for the premiere, however, was anyone guess.

Outside the event venue, celebrities gathered.

The grand premiere, meticulously organized by Jim and his team, began on schedule.

Luxury cars pulled up one after another at the end of the red carpet, and world-famous stars stepped out, smiling and waving at the media and fans.

The sound of cameras clicking filled the air.

According to the original plan, Harry Osborn was supposed to attend and walk the red carpet.

However, with Norman disappearance, the power struggle within Osborn Corporation had intensified.

As the focal point of this turmoil, Harry had no time to spare but had sent Anton his best wishes for the film box office success.

Before hanging up, Harry, who had hesitated for a long time, finally asked a question, aware of The Daily Bugle connection to Batman.

"Anton, do you also think my father is dead?"

"It hard to say," Anton replied.

Anton response to Harry question was vague.

But before hanging up, he didn't forget to wish Harry good luck.

Back to the main event.

After all the guests had walked the red carpet, the final group to make an appearance was the production team.

Anton and the rest of the crew quickly made their way across the red carpet.

As behind-the-scenes personnel, they weren't interested in lingering on the long red carpet.

However, as per protocol, Anton paused in front of the giant movie poster to take questions from the media.

"Director Anton, what are your expectations for your new movie?"

"It been reported that Batman recently appeared in New York, and The Daily Bugle is said to have close ties with him. Does The Daily Bugle have plans for an exclusive interview with Batman?"

"What kind of movie is Cyborg?"

"Expectations are high," Anton replied. "No plans for a Batman interview at the moment, and Cyborg is a great film."

After answering the questions, he was about to head inside the venue when he noticed an Audi pulling up at the end of the red carpet.

The production team was supposed to be the last to walk the carpet, so who was showing up now?

Who loved being fashionably late this much?

His curiosity piqued, Anton stopped and watched the car.

A slightly stocky figure stepped out of the driver seat.

"That Happy Hogan! Tony Stark bodyguard!"

"Tony in the car!"

A reporter immediately recognized the driver, and it wasn't hard to guess who was inside.

"Tony Stark is actually attending the premiere?"

"Hasn't he been laying low since returning from Afghanistan? Why show up now?"

The reporters erupted into chatter.

In no time, they swarmed toward the Audi.

"Tony! What made you decide to attend this premiere?"

"What the current status of Stark Industries? Are you really shutting down the weapons manufacturing division?"

"There a statement from Stark Industries claiming you're mentally unstable due to a concussion. Is that true?"

The reporters surrounded Tony like a pack of wolves.

But having grown up in the limelight, Tony Stark remained unruffled, responding to the chaos with a cool demeanor.

"Someone invited me, so I came."

"Stark Industries? Sorry, no comments on that right now."

Ahead of Tony, Happy Hogan was drenched in sweat as he worked tirelessly to clear a path through the crowd.

Finally, they managed to make their way into the venue.

Once inside, Happy let out a sigh of relief.

Behind him, Tony Stark stopped and fixed his gaze on Anton, who was waiting for him. A faint, amused smile played on Tony lips as he said, "Anton, I heard that during The Batman release, someone spread rumors that I was dead and claimed the movie was my final work."

"I heard about that too—terrible people, truly," Anton replied without missing a beat. He stepped forward to shake Tony hand, adding with a smile, "Honestly, I didn't expect you to show up."

"After being cooped up at home for so long, I needed some fresh air."

Tony smile didn't waver, but his gaze remained locked on Anton, as if assessing him. Ultimately, he let the matter slide without pressing further.

He then proceeded to take his seat, waiting for the movie to begin.
