A great silence preceded the entire hall. Everyone was shocked after hearing the bride's reply. When her words finally, registered in everyone's mind, a big commotion broke out in the hall. Everyone was stunned to hear 'no' from the bride and they couldn't help but wonder what was going on. 

The bride disagreed with the marriage. Why?

Hearing the 'I DON'T' from Chen Ziyue's mouth, was like spitting on Si Jingyun's face. He felt as if she has kicked his male ego by rejecting him infront of everyone. He wa here, standing at the altar, ready to get married to the most beautiful bride, and there she was, refusing to get married to him. This was the most humiliating moment in Si Jingyun's life. 

Anger blazed through him like lava, and all the gentle facade disappeared from his face. Grabbing Bai Liyue's arm, he glared at her with anger. "CHEN ZIYUE, HOW DARE YOU!!!"
