Bai Liyue was confused. "A chance for what?"

"To pursue you," he smiled.

Huh? To pursue me?

She was stunned. She could think of many things that Qin Yufeng would have asked her, but she never thought that he would ask her for permission to pursue her. He's always been a dominant, demanding man. He always did what he wanted and rarely asked for her opinion. She was so used to listening to him, that his asking for her permission never crossed her mind. 

Hence, she was highly surprised by his request. 

"You look surprised," Qin Yufeng stated, noticing the shocked look on her face. 

"I am!" she admitted. 

"So....." Qin Yufeng asked, starting to get nervous. "Is that a yes?"
