Qi Ming Wei naturally did not miss the shift in Yang Ran's expression.

He lowered his gaze as a thought came to his mind. After a while, Qi Ming Wei looked up again with a faint smile on his face. He ate the orange slowly and looked at Yang Ran again. "Ran Ran... do you understand what's on the report?"

Yang Ran looked away. "I don't understand."

"Really?" He leaned over and chuckled. "But I seem to remember that you are working for Huang Wen Zhou at the university. You are one of his assistants, right? You should be able to understand the report, right?"

Yang Ran pretended to continue to peel him the orange.

"I might be working as Huang Wen Zhou's assistant, but it doesn't mean that I understand much about his work," Yang Ran spoke. "All I did was to key in some data and let the computer do its work."
