"I haven't slept with a girl in a long time," Adam said.
They were both on the bed, facing each other against the ceiling in a very stiff position.
Becca swallowed hard. The only man she slept with was Tommy, and the second was Adam. But with Adam this time, his aura did feel much more positive.
"That's great when you haven't slept with a girl in a while," Becca retorted.
"How about yourself, Becca? Is-"
"You know from the first to the last time, only Tommy did I sleep. I've never slept with anyone." He interrupted Adam's words, which actually he also defended himself more because he did not want Adam to think about him.
Suddenly Adam faced sideways, towards him, making Becca follow his movements. They looked at each other, pillows keeping them apart. And that was fortunate for both of them, because if there were no boundaries, maybe one of them would be more brutal, or go first.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to offend you," Adam said.
