CHEOL’s POV

I stopped my car in front of Kelly’s house and got out, looking up at her room. I snapped my head around while my legs brought me to climb in the tree to her bedroom.

My heart raced inside my chest. I couldn’t wait to hold her in my arms again. As I jumped inside her room, my chest felt heavy. Everything around me seemed to stop. She’s not here. Where did she go?

I dashed towards her closet and opened it. It was empty.

I swallowed a lump in my throat as the wind blew from outside the window, the summer air was kissing my skin, but I felt cold deeper inside me.

Where did she go?

I sat on her bed and think for a moment. Wasn’t she happy with me anymore that’s why she chose to leave me? Would she be happy with another man who’s younger than me?
