I sat staring at the photo album mum had dropped in my room two weeks ago. My wedding album

Immense joy filled my heart as I stared at the pictures.

I was still concentrated on it when a knock came sounding on my door

"Yes, come in" I answered.

The door opened and mom came in

"Hey son" she smiled as she took a sit

"Hi mom, good morning"

"Morning dear, how are you feeling today?" She asked.

"I'm feeling better mom, how was your night?"

"It was OK. Well, I'll be inviting Paisley and Aurora for dinner over the weekend. I hope you will be home" I was happy over the news I just heard but mom looked disturbed

"Of course mom, I'll be home"I answered wondering why she would think different

"That's good, and please do not make her uncomfortable. Remember the doctors advice, do and visit things that matters to you and son, nothing mattered to you than that young lady did" she insisted and I understood her point.
