It had been 4 days, but Cassius still hadn't come out of Eleanor's room. He only took his own food from the kitchen, without calling the servants and after that, returned to Eleanor's room.

Max had tried to ask how Eleanor was doing, he didn't ask about the success or failure of Cassius' antidote, because he knew it would work, considering he himself survived due to Cassius's blood.

However, Cassius remained silent, and walked half-run to Eleanor's room as if he was avoiding Max's question.

While Max was walking back and forth inside Cassius' office, a servant met him and said that there was Eleanor's family looking for Cassius.

"Ugh! They seem tireless!"

Grumbling, Max exited and headed towards the gate. Duke Ashford and Ethan came daily, every morning and evening.

They kept asking about Eleanor and demanded to see her. Max could only provide various reasons to appease them because, honestly, he himself still didn't know Eleanor's condition.
