Chapter 41: 39. Vengeful Spirit: Thalia's Madness(Final)

Maisarah felt uneasy. A foreboding premonition stirred within her heart. She felt, tonight, something terrible bound to happen.

She just roused from her restless sleep, with her back drenched in cold sweats.

Unpleasant dreams kept haunting her sleep. In the past, she would experience night terror almost every night. Sometimes, the nightmare even affected her awake state. She had difficulty distinguishing between reality and dream because of the vividness of the hallucination.

She occasionally dreamed about her dead sister and the night when she died. Frequently, she will dream about a child in a red dress, around the age of seven to eight, her black hair tied in a ponytail with glittering brooches on either side of her hair.

The girl had pale, white, and unblemished skin. She seemed approachable, and her face adorned with alluring smiles, although behind the innocent laughter, a wicked gleam deeply hidden within the emerald irises.
