If she picked up Dylan's call, what were the chances that she would reply to my texts too?

I kept glaring at the number on my phone, wondering if she would reply to my text or not. I had never thought about anything twice before doing it, but the thoughts like how I would really feel bad if she didn't reply were really clouding my head.

Not being able to control myself anymore, I finally took a deep breath and texted her.

"I hope you are not angry with me," I texted her, hoping for her quick reply.

I kept staring at the right tick on my text as if my staring would send some kind of signal to Valencia and she would see this text quickly.

It didn't come.

Even after staring at the text for twenty minutes and refreshing my screen again and again, the reply didn't come and I sighed.

I was about to throw my phone on the side when my phone finally pinged with an incoming message and I immediately opened her text.
