Chapter 48: Targeted

The once-lively atmosphere of the arena became tense in an instant. The newcomer’s arrival startled and frightened several contestants. Arias’ power was not on the level that they could fight against at all. They were just acolytes, to fight and win against an adept mage was nearly impossible. It was only the higher-level acolytes who were still able to remain somewhat hopeful.
