Chapter 21: Chapter-18 New Recruits Part - 2

There was heavy smoke coming out of the workshop and clangs of hammer could be heard from inside. Rosa pulled her sleeves up and greeted them loudly from the doorstep.

Babak stopped hammering, “Welcome back kid. How are you feeling?”

Rosa scratched her head, “Sorry for being late. I fell asleep for a long time.”

“It is alright I heard you got singled out by Commander Eisen in the training.” Merlin asked her while keeping an eye at the fireplace.

“Now that is something I want to hear as well.” Babak put the hammer aside and sat on the tool.

“It is nothing that interesting I was just in the way.” Rosa explained while looking at the floor.

Merlin laughed, “There is no need to be modest I do not think any of the details were exaggerated.”

He turned to look at Babak recounting the whole situation that took place in the training. Rosa was startled at how Merlin presented the detailed version when he was not even there.
