Chapter 225: Ch–77 The attack Pt-2

Similar to the inn the jewelry shop was approached by black knights. They were smaller in number. The light was not turned on. The attack on the inn was more of a distraction than an attack on the main target here. They noticed the movement of the townspeople.

Their informer finally let out the positions of the people sent to investigate them. They silently got in through the windows. It was easy for them to open the lock in it. The leader of the black knight grinned at not facing any resistance till now.

They sent most of the people upstairs and the other half moved to the back of the main room. They noticed the low light from the basement. They climbed down to a figure staring back at them. An eagle on his shoulder. He was holding a long metal pike in his right hand with a large curved blade on top.
