Lais took a deep breath he was feeling the pressure from the death glares from Rosa. A prince getting death glares from a soldier to a slave in his own country.

Lais cleared his throat. “I understand what you are angry about, but I am going to ally with the empire. Even though I was sold to the empire as a slave in the first place.”

He tried to put in a guilt fact to soften her up. Even though Rosa did not show it, she did feel a bit guilty about it.

‘He is right you know, why should he help you guys he was sold there, and no one came to save him. Also, the second time he arrived he was attacked by the black knights. The empire is not something he should be thinking about honestly. He should be running on the opposite side.’ The shadow nodded his head in agreement.

‘Yes, you will say that.’ Her eyes went from the shadow to the prince.

“It is strange that a prince is sold as a slave to a poacher in another country.” Her head tilted looking at him.
