The next day was not as peaceful as the people in the eagle camp hoped. There was an early warning of attack from the scouts. The sand people were determined to remove the obstacle from their route. They quickly had to discard things and run out of the camp with the armor fastened on their body. They were fewer in number, but they were still in a better state physically than the exhausted empire’s soldiers. Rosa felt a surge of fire hit her head. She was angry with her brother.

‘How does this person think of managing a country if the amount of people he sends to defend is this less? Where is that extra help they promised?’
