Darce was looking straight into the ground. There was silence, but there was a threatening voice behind him. She could feel the anger coming out of him in flames.
“Sir, you are not in armor.” She tried to make a warning.
“Does not matter.” He ignored her and turned back to take a different route.
Rosa smirked and followed. “Please do not do anything reckless, Captain.”
The sarcasm in her voice was evident, yet Darce ignored it. He was focused on the camp. The camp was not significant enough to be called a base. Yet its presence was scary enough for the eagle base. They tried to hide their presence, which was more uncomplicated due to the night sky.
“Your metal might make too much sound. Staying behind is also an option. Rosa.” The words were directed to Rosa, but his eyes were still at the camp, no doubt checking the surroundings for an entrance.
