The Vatakku soldiers' morale fell, with Eugene entering the middle section and the right-rank commander falling. There was hardly any more strength left in the minds of the soldiers. Rould had no other choice but to retreat. He had to choose to return to battle for another day. A significant number of Vatakku soldiers were dead at the hands of the Empire.

The end of the fight was sealed, with only a group of soldiers left with Rould instead of dying to the future on the ground. He was taken away by his men and injured. The long days of battle exhaustion were quickly changed to roaring cheers from the Empire’s side. Rosa stood watching the Vatakku leaving. She was on the ground with the cavalry.

Her hands were aching as she retracted the blade from the recent victim. The war was won, but there was no bright burning sun. Instead, there was silence behind the cheering roars. The dead on the ground did not feel any resemblance to a friend or foe. She only felt pity.
