“And what is the sign of the people who can lift the burden?” Darce sighed, taking the last question.
“There are so many qualities; what should I answer?” Rosa answered impatiently.
“Tell me the one you think is important.” Her husband was clearly not going to let her go without an answer.
“Well, I believe the part where one can create balance without violence and greed.” Darce finally relaxed at her answer.
He smiled first before breaking into laughter. “Have you been taught the art of governance by the first Empire?”
“Art of governance? Isn’t that for the Kings only?” Dylan interrupted in the middle; no one was allowed to touch that book instead of the ruler or the heir to the throne.
It was a book, and copies were only given to the King. “I did not read these; it was something Mother made sure to repeat every morning, and they got me ready for breakfast.”
