The stage of the battle changed all of a sudden. There was a drastic change in fate. They made a mistake with the kind of people waiting for the black knights. At a point in a warrior's life, they regret the most basic decisions. Edan made that mistake. It was in Argenti's nature to charge first.
However, unlike on the battlefield, there were more assassins with technical movements, the more these knights moved like winds around him. They target for the kill, there is no defence or block, no study time, and the weapons are so different that they must study the movements before blocking their attacks each time.
Edan was moving to defend at the end moment and thinking fast until the last moment. He could not understand what would be the best time to attack. There were too many random routes the black knights were taking.
