“There is another task where I would like your assistance, Rosaline.” She took the red-covered book on her right and passed it to Rosa.
She put the cup down and accepted the book from Isabella. The book had a hardcover with golden borders. Rosa opened the book and turned the first page over. Inside, there were sketches of female garments. These were designs, unlike anything she wore before.
“Are these dress sketches?”
“Ï asked Madam to give me some designs that suit your taste.” Rosa gave a questioning look at Isabella, confused as to what she was trying to say.
“Your Majesty, is this for me?” Her words came with pauses.
She was having a hard time believing this. The etiquette lesson, which Maria hammered into her, included the importance of dressing up appropriately.
Even though Rosa decided to ignore this fact, she still had to bend down to Maria’s words and obey the main events.
