Natasha and I spent five glorious months wondering the globe and treasure hunting. It wasn't for anything in particular, but we did find plenty enough including ancient gold and some god artifacts from times forgotten. Some were sent to the Sanctums as they'd belonged to the Greeks or in some cases the Norse gods.
We did pick up the berserker staff pieces and ended up reconnecting them. I had a laugh when she hit me with it and I gained an added berserker strength when I was angry, further mystically increasing my own Hulk strength and abilities as well as my human ones.
We'd given it to the Sanctums and the ancient one in particular after that. She and Natasha got along well enough as Natasha learned of stories about my teaching days and my old friend Agamotto from her lips. I didn't comment as j thought on the past a few times.
I got a call a little more recently from Grim confirming he'd saved Luke Cage or Carl Lucas as he's still known, from going to prison. He'd also ended up digging up dirt on a bunch of corrupt cops who were sent to prison in Luke's place.
A couple months later I got word Coulson had been given the Bus and his new team. Natasha and I returned to the US after we fished up a sunken treasure ship worth a few hundred million in gems and gold and went for a walk around the lesser known areas of Hell's Kitchen and the Bronx until we ran across a hero incident of a woman saving a man from a mugger.
We approached her silently while another man approached her as well. He spoke and I froze for a moment before freezing the area and him and unfreezing Natasha and the shocked Jessica Jones.
I told her. "Relax Jessica, you recognize us I take it?"
She nodded and I turned to Natasha. "Can you talk to her, I have to contact Hill. This prick is a mind controller and from his thoughts a rapist in every sense of the word who planned to use her for himself."
Jessica froze before nearly lunging at him. I caught her and Natasha took her a bit away while I called Director Hill of Shield. "This is Dark. Black Widow and I ran across a mind controller whose abusing his powers to rape and torture for his amusement. His power seems to be science based and experimented on. No, I have him contained. You'll need a gag and restraints as he has to speak to control his victims."
"He emits some kind of pheromone into the environment so I'm recommending a full containment and if possible a power stripping. I've been able to mute his abilities but there's no telling if that's permanent or not. If he becomes a problem, ending him may be the best option as his gift is simply to dangerous for extraction and experimentation in my opinion."
After she confirmed my recommendation, Coulson and his team, including Skye surprisingly, showed up with a containment cell. I warned him. "This one needs special care. If he gets out or speaks after anyone near him is infected, he could take over Shield in a few hours. I'm already immune but Natasha and Mrs.Jones have been infected so it'll be ten to twelve hours before it's out of their systems."
Coulson sighed. "You couldn't just send him somewhere else?"
I rolled my eyes. "I called you instead of outright killing him, be happy I didn't just do that. He's the worst type of human and saying he's deprived is being evil to the deprived. I've met demons with less evil in them."
Skye spoke up. "Demons are real?"
I raised an eyebrow. "You must be new. Yes, demons, gods, aliens, monsters from your worst nightmares. All of them are real in one form or another. Hell is real and a very real place. But then the opposite is true as well so there's still hope if that helps."
She gulped and Coulson asked. "Any recommendations to keeping him quiet?"
I raised an eyebrow before smiling and walking to Killgrave and shoving my hand into his chest violently before gruesomely pulling out his voice box and vocal cords. I dropped them in a bag before healing the profusely bleeding wound before catching my hand on fire and burning away the blood and contaminants.
I turned to Coulson who was a bit pale. "He'll live but he'll never speak again. He still has his powers and once he wakes up you'll want to gag him to be safe. Take no chances with this one. He'd convince you to kill yourself while he rapes your female agents all while laughing at your death. A true monster."
They were already weary of me but Agent May, the Calvary and a friend of Natasha's cracked Killgrave's jaw before shoving a gag in his mouth and tossing him in a white containment cell while he was bound. "Jobs done."
I chuckled. "Damn, love, your friend reminds me of you."
Natasha snorted as she and Jones came back over. "She's far worse then me."
May smiled. "You're only just saying that to butter me up."
I chuckled. "Well Coulson, it's good to see you again. Oh, before I forget, he had two women with him before he walked over. Odds are they were his latest victims. They may need counseling and watched for suicidal tendencies. I doubt they'll understand fully what was happening but you may want to help them to do so anyways."
He nodded grimly. "I'll see what I can do."
I sighed. "That's all anyone can ask. So how's the life as a leader of your own team?"
He grunted. "A pain. Fury had no idea what mess he was leaving behind. Some assholes dumped a sort of alien crystal into the ocean that's infected the environment and now people with powers are popping up all over the place."
I shrugged. "Maybe it's just another sign of the coming age. I've told Fury before that the age of gods and monsters is upon us once more. The lords of hell have begun moving and making champions. Mephisto has his ghost rider, a sort of flaming skulled man with a penchant for leaving bodies around. He's sort of like a bounty hunter that works exclusively for hell. The elder gods are choosing champions as their totems are found and even Bast, the panther goddess has chosen a new champion in Africa."
He grunted. "That all sounds vaguely terrifying."
I smiled. "Well, if you'd like to become my champion Coulson, I'd be more than happy to bless you with powers and magic to summon me in times of need."
He raised an eyebrow and I shrugged. "I am a god after all, or as close to it as any other who claims to be a god."
He sighed. "In that case I'd be happy for the extra oomf."
I smiled and bestowed the gift of healing, regeneration and an enhanced physique on him. He didn't change any by looks but I handed him a metal bar and he turned it into a pretzel while I told him. "It's not Hulk strength, but it's around Captain America's strength level. I've enchanted your words as well to summon me if you say the name Dark while meaning to summon me. The rest is up to you."
He frowned. "Just like that? What's the catch?"
I shrugged. "If you run across gods or god artifacts you'll be compelled to call for me. It's the only downside though I think you'll find it isn't in most cases anyways."
He nodded. "In that case thanks."
I shrugged. "You're the only one who gets this privilege Coulson and only because I failed you."
He sighed and I brushed off his attempt to say it was fine. I told him evenly. "Your newbie has the potential to be an Inhuman. If she turns her powers may help you once she's learned to control them."
He turned to Skye who was listening to Natasha and May exchange words with Jones. He sighed. "I'll let her know you said so."
I shrugged. "That's up to you. Just let her know before hand that it's a profound experience, not unlike how I'm sure you feel now. You yourself will need to relearn control as well. Oh, and here's this, it'll help you keep others out of your head."
I handed him a book on Occlumency. I'm aware you need magic to actually be successful at it but in point of fact all living beings in this universe seem to have the potential for magic and the mystic arts so it was fine.
He took the book and I sighed. "Good luck with your team Coulson. Oh, and Hill is looking at you to be the next in line as Director of Shield so I'd start taking your political roles seriously. She intends to rejoin Fury in his new task as soon as you're qualified enough."
He grunted before sighing. "I hate politics."
I chuckled. "Me too my friend. I've so little patience for greedy evil fools and that's just the good ones."
He snorted and shook my hand before calling his team over and taking the invisible quinjet and his new prisoner up to the Bus. The white containment cell rocketed up on its own as the Bus has already been upgraded and modified.
When they left, I asked Jessica Jones. "So, do you want to be trained by Natasha as a possible future Avenger? Or do you want to go back to stopping petty crimes? Or perhaps do you want to be normal for a time?"
She stilled as I finished before asking. "You can make me normal again?"
I nodded. "For a time at least. I don't know how long it'll last or if it'll ever come back without a sufficient traumatic event so you'll need to be sure about it."
She sighed and told us. "What's the training like?"
I smiled. "With Nat as a teacher it's hell, but it could be worse. You could have me as a teacher for example."
Natasha chuckled. "He's not wrong on the last part but you'll gain full control of your abilities and help save the world once you're properly trained, or go back to helping the regular everyday people. Either way it'll be a good thing."
Jones smiled. "In that case I'm in."
I gave her the address to the condo and we left her to enjoy her day while we went to prepare the training room and reinforce it against bringing down the building when they practiced.
A month later, during a sparing match with Jessica while Natasha coached her, I got a summons from Phil. I was pulled through a teleportation point onto the Bus and landed in front of him and his people. He sighed. "Good, it worked. This is Jemma Simmons, she's been infected with a Chitauri virus and I was hoping you could do something about it. We're out of options and command is demanding the mask of all started from is sent to lockup."
I frowned and looked over the clearly sick scientist before walking through the quarantine class door, phasing through like it was a mini portal and didn't hold me back. I walked to her while she panted a bit. I raised a hand and put it on her forehead, reaching inside her and flushing out the virus.
I'd encountered it before when Blonsky In abomination form ate a Chitauri out of curiosity after seeing me do the same before. I'd had to flush it out of him as well though it'd been much more complicated with him.
Once I pulled my hand away from her, she looked much better while an electric ball in a shielded bubble hovered above my hand. I sighed and crushed it completely from existence before turning to Coulson. "I'll modify my nanites to account for this virus to prevent other infections. They can heal it now that I understand what it is."
He nodded and I continued. "She's better now. I can't stay though, as you can see I was in a sparing match, training a possible new Avenger or hero. She has the ability to fly and is essentially a weaker Captain America. Damned if she doesn't do low blows though."
He chuckled and nodded. "May's doing the same for Skye."
I sighed. "You may want to look into a suit of your own. But if you do choose one, remember to bare this mark-"
I made a green Phoenix appear over my palm in fire and said. "It is my symbol and as my champion it must be worn if you take up an official mantel as a hero."
He nodded. "I'll remember that."
I smiled. "I'm that case, you'll find wearing it will also add a pyrokinetic element to your blows."
He raised an eyebrow and I shrugged before flame traveling in green flames as I headed back home. There I told Jessica and Natasha I had to add something to my nanite programs so they could pick up where we left off.
I headed to the lab and added the Kree virus and it's solutions to the medical codes of the nanites. When I returned they were kissing surprisingly. I coughed. "Should I be worried?"
They broke apart and Jessica shook her head. "No, sorry, I-"
Natasha sighed and swayed over to me before kissing me and pulling me over to Jessica as well. I understood what she wanted. She wanted to experience something new and understand what she was feeling.
She knew her sister wives enjoyed each other and myself so she wanted to test the waters as it were and Jessica had shown interest in me enough that she wanted to test it. I let her have her way as she pulled us both to the mats and we all three enjoyed each other in various positions and ways until Jessica lay sleeping and filled up.
I'd have to insist she take a nanite morning after pill because I already sensed she was fertile from her pheromones and with as much as we'd enjoyed each other and what was clearly leaking from her, there was no doubt it would take.
Natasha had rather enjoyed herself and the sensation of dominating another female. The experience left her thrilled and rather horns which led to us going at it well into the night and early into the next evening when Jessica woke up and found herself being filled while eating out Natasha.
We'd double teamed her as she was waking and decided on a less then subtle approach to the fun. She was a bit tight even after the previous night's events but then I didn't mind a bit as she moaned and I adjusted my pace.
A few hours later we stopped for showers and food. I'd to stop and remember to tell Jessica about the pill and she'd nearly lost her lunch before asking. "Wait, I'm already on the pill, how would I get pregnant even now?"
I sighed. "I'm very potent and you were definitely in the mood. You're already pregnant now but the pill will get rid of it. Obviously I can't force you, well, I won't anyway, but if you want to continue this with us, you'll need to take it."
Natasha scowled before sighing. "He's right though. Even I take them especially to prevent this sort of decision. It's up to you though. No pressure."
Jessica asked. "What happens if I don't l?"
I shrugged. "We go back to training you and when you're ready l'll send you off with a big ass check for child support and a house I'll buy for you and the kid. I'd stop by to see it if that's ok with you and you'll never want for money or things, but we'll also never take you into our bed again. I'm sorry, but there is no ring or dream wedding from this outcome, at least not with me. I wouldn't stop you from being with others regardless and I'd wish you the best in that department."
"Then there's if you decide to put it up for adoption, I'd adopt it and we'd probably never speak again."
She frowned before sighing and taking the pill. I nodded. "I'm that case Natasha has her own things to do today so you'll be with me in training. Don't worry, it won't effect your body or hurt anything. It's simply undoing the egg and sperm before it can grow. After training Natasha will be joining us for dinner and if your feeling up for it, another night like last night and this morning."
She sighed and we spent the day in grueling training before grabbing a shower and some alone time where she learned the pleasures of how fierce I can be when I break the tiles pounding her her against the shower wall while hot Watten beat against our skin.
She'd cried out as her legs clinched around me and I filled her with a white flood. Her panting chest rose and fell rapidly while my knotting went on for a bit and she moaned from the feeling of being truly filled. When I slid out and it followed, she asked while holding on to me. "Do I need another pill?"
I shook my head. "No, it lasts one month per pill. They're especially made for this."
She nodded and laid her head against my chest and sighed. "I'm sort of glad I took the pill. I'm not ready to be a mom. I don't know if I'll ever be, but something felt right when you said I was pregnant. As if I was somehow ok with that outcome. At peace with it."
I sighed. "Perhaps one day you'll make a great mother Jessica, but unless Natasha and I approve, you'll not be the mother of my child. From now on I'll ask you each month before each pill wears off if you'll take another. Not to be mean but to not have to put you in that position again. It makes Natasha happy and as I'm sure you can feel-"
I slid back inside her as she groaned. "It makes me satisfied to have more sex relief. I'm constantly in the state for more and I've spent a very long time without so-"
I slowly buried myself to the hilt as she bit my shoulder as I grunted and continued. "I'm more than happy for more."
Soon enough her beautiful breasts were bouncing with her as she panted until Natasha joined us. After I finished in Jessica, I set her on the shower bench and Natasha went to eating her out while I took her from behind.
Life was good for a while as both women seemed to enjoy each other to a degree. Jessica still much more preferred me but she wasn't adverse to spending some time with Natasha especially since it usually ended with me giving them both more.
Half a month later I sensed a massive change in the planets and realms as I saw the beginning of the convergence. Natasha and Jones couldn't see it as they were powerful but technically still mortals in the end. Natasha wouldn't be an official goddess until her soul expands a lot more or much other wives wake up in her and Jessica was only a basic mortal with powers at this point.
I left them to their training and went to Greenwich London. I felt a gravitational fluctuation and a portal opening nearby and arrived at a factory where three kids were showing two women and a man about the portals.
I knew the women were Jane Foster and Darcy Lewis so I followed them in and watched the until the male went to drop the keys. I caught them and stopped him. "You're an idiot kid."
The kids spoke up. "Cool! It's the Dark Avenger!"
I sighed. "Sure kids. Now skiddadle, these things are extremely dangerous and one mistake could leave you stuck in an alternate dimension or on a planet far away."
Their eyes went wide and they fled, leaving the three adults. I handed Darcy the keys to the car. "Maybe don't drop these. That last portal was to a different world and you'd be hard pressed to get them back."
Jane Foster asked. "Did Thor send you?"
I shook my head. "No, but I've odds on him showing up if you end up going through one of these portals."
She raised her eyebrows and Darcy distracted me by asking. "Can I borrow your shoe?"
I looked at her as if she were crazy. "Silly girl, portals are not toys to be played with. Image sticking your head through one and finding the other end being in space or in the heart of a star. You'd be dead like that."
I snapped my finger and she paled. I sighed. "Besides that, it could be much worse. If one of these went to the corona of a blackhole, the entire planet could be sucked into oblivion, compact to the point where you'd all be dead before you realized what was happening."
Even the male intern paled a bit. "M-maybe we should go."
Darcy nodded and I turned to see Jane had disappeared. Sighing, I followed her presence until I wound up going through a portal to a cavernous pit. There I found her peaking at the Aether, the reality stone in liquid form.
I told her from behind. "I wouldn't get much closer. That's not something a human should touch. It's extremely dangerous."
She jumped and I moved, interrupting the reality stone from trying to enter her and presenting it a different option. It felt like a shot of adrenaline and a volcanic eruption all at once as it dove into my body.
I could feel it resisting and knew I wasn't yet ready for it. Still I marked it as mine as it devoured some of my vast, nearly endless, lifeforce. It seemed to react like a greedy puppy that found a toy it liked. I grunted and opened a portal back to Greenwich, outside the factory.
Darcy and her intern were there and when I forced Jane out and followed her through, it started raining. Sighing, I turned to see Thor there as I sensed him. He came over and asked. "What happened?"
I grunted. "Jane here found an infinity stone, specifically the reality stone or Aether. Fortunately I was able to intervene before it could take her as a host. Unfortunately it entered me instead."
Thor grimaced and I nodded. "Even now I can feel it feeding off my lifeforce. Just my luck, I come to see the convergence up close and end up being sucked on by the vampire of infinity stones."
Jane looked sad. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to get you in trouble like this!"
I shook my head. "It's fine. Once it consumes enough, I'll have enough control over it to force it out of myself. Then we can seal it away again."
Thor asked. "Are you sure? Infinity stones are notoriously dangerous and risky to influence."
I nodded. "I'm sure, though I may need your father's help with this one."
He nodded. "Then we must go immediately, Heimdall, the Bifrost!"
I grunted and didn't resist even as I mimicked Heimdall's connection to the dark matter bridge they used as a bridge between worlds. He grabbed Jane's waist and I chuckled as we were pulled along.
When we walked out, I nodded to Heimdall. "It's been a long while old friend."
He nodded. "That it has. The All-father is waiting."
I nodded and Thor asked. "You know each other?"
I chuckled. "I was on Asgard for nearly a thousand years before you were born. I trained with a lot of warriors when I was here and Heimdall was one of them. The greatest of them in fact."
Heimdall sighed. "Only when compared to all but yourself. Over a thousand battles and not once could I land a blow on you old friend."
I shrugged. "Ahh, but you learned from each battle and that puts you ahead of most others. Besides, I've many years of training on you all. It's hardly fair to compare yourself to me."
He nodded before saying. "That is true."
I smiled. "Well, best not to keep the AllFather waiting. Nah we meet again Heimdall, son of Edda."
He nodded and we left. I floated before turning to Thor. "Grab Jane and keep up."
Like a missile I shot through the air at near super sonic speeds. I arrived back at the Hall of Odin after so many years away. He was already on his throne when I arrived. I bowed politely while Thor and Jane finally arrived. "AllFather. It's been a thousand years."
He nodded. "Dark, son of Nott. It has indeed. I'm told you need a favor?"
I grunted. "I've found myself in a tight spot. In saving an innocent from it, I've been made host to the Aether. I request your help in finding a safe place to put it once it's out. Earth already has the time and mind stones, both of which are hidden. As far as I know the space stone is here on Asgard, that means we must search elsewhere for a suitable place for it."
He grunted. "This doesn't bode well. Four of the stones appearing so soon and so close to one another."
I sighed. "Indeed it doesn't. I've a feeling the one behind this ruse is also the one behind the invasion on earth. Speaking of which, how fairs Loki? We're you able to help rid him of the mental influences?"
He nodded. "For the most part we were successful. Though he hasn't been able to identify his capturer. If it indeed is the same one, then we must be careful as it means someone is making a play for all the stones."
I agreed. "Indeed."
He sighed. "Very well, I shall ponder on where to hide it and take care of it once you've managed to purge yourself of it."
I chuckled. "Then I shall endeavor to do so with great haste. Might I perhaps bother you for a room for the night. It should be out by tomorrow."
He nodded and told Thor. "See to it that he's given the accommodations for the evening. Now, why is the mortal here?"
I sighed as Thor struggled to answer before finally I spoke up. "I've offered to make her immortal by my own power. Since she and Thor are in love, he has promised to show her Asgard where she may call home one day."
Odin gave me the stink eye before sighing. "Very well. But by your own powers it must be. Asgard cannot afford the cost as our own tree of eternity is barely able to sustain ourselves as is."
I nodded and promised him I'd be the one paying the price for her immortality and Thor led us the apartment rooms. There he said. "It is a brave thing to lie to the AllFather for my sake my friend."
I rolled my eyes. "Hardly and whomever said I was lying?"
That had them both staring at me in shock. I pulled out a golden apple and handed it to Jane. "Eat this and you'll stop aging as well as be really hard to kill. I took the tree of Hera's when I slaughtered the Greek gods. This is one of her apples."
Jane frowned. "Can I eat it later?"
I nodded. "So long as you do it while you're here you'll gain the physiology of an Asgardian. Then no matter what Odin's complaints are, he will not be able to stand in your way anymore. Frigga would not allow it."
"Know me that well do you?"
I smiled when I heard that voice. "Only as well as I know the sun will always rise until the star itself goes dark. Frigga my old friend, how've you been?"
She smiled mischievously. "That's Queen to you!"
I gave her a mock bow. "How could I ever forget little Frig?"
She snorted and rolled her eyes. "I thought I told you not to call me that again?"
I shrugged. "Old habits and all that."
She sighed. "And here I thought you'd listen to a teacher."
I rolled my eyes now. "Oh please, then you'd be bowing to me after all the blade lessons I gave you!"
She chuckled lightheartedly and gave me a hug. "It really is good to see you my old friend. You're the only one who never really cared for status. Except when it came to Odin."
I snorted. "I bow to him out of respect for his forefathers for building this realm and protecting the nine realms. You and Heimdall are the only ones besides Thor now worthy of that same respect but I'd never bother with status. Life is to short to be looking at the ground all the time and playing to others vanity, even for immortals."
She pulled away nodding. "Heimdall says you need our help?"
I sighed. "I've come across the Aether. I've given Heimdall the sign and warned Odin subtly but I think he'd prefer to ignore my warning. The vanity of a king and god. I believe the Dark Elves will try to seek it out. With the convergence, Malekith will seek to use this chance to destroy the nine realms and from there the rest of the universe with the power of the Aether. I warned Odin all those years ago that Malekith wasn't dead but it seems he'd choose to believe his own arrogance over someone older than even his own grandfather."
She sighed. "He's fought for peace and he doesn't wish to admit war may be almost us once more. I'll speak with him."
I nodded. "I'll head to the barrier generator room to reinforce the room itself and keep out any trespassers. Once it's secure, I'll see about what I can do for Heimdall's eyes. The Dark Elves have cloaking technology and Malekith will come in person to collect what he views as his."
She nodded. "Thor, take your beloved to Loki's room and protect them. Loki is still recovering in the Odin sleep. You must not let him be disturbed."
I sighed. "Jane, remember the apple. Keep it with you and keep it safe until you're ready to bite it."
She nodded and I left through a portal to the barrier room. I reinforced the room with it's own intent barrier hooked to ten engine block sized ward stones. With that it would take even a boosted Dark Elf a great deal of time to break through.
I added a teleportation barrier so that if the main barrier broke, it would activate, sending those meaning ill intent into the nearby star Asgard revolves around. Some of thy best work I do believe. When I left there, I went to visit Heimdall and gave him a pair of shades that would not only increase his vision to all spectrums including infrared, it would give him Cyclops's powers when he wished it.
I warned him not to activate it indoors and never at friendlies and told him it ran off his own magic so he'd need to be careful with it. He thanked me and a few hours later while I was in meditation, strengthening my link to the reality stone intentionally as I fed it more and more lifeforce, he got to use those very shades as he blew several ships out of the sky and attacked the mothership with it.
The barrier around Asgard went up and although the queen, feeling much more confident, went to confront the beast at the barrier engine room door, it still gutted her as she fell through the protective barriers.
It attacked said barriers and more guards showed up until it destroyed said barrier and it was teleported to the star, dying like a failure. Odin found his dead wife and in a rage, activated his Odin force, blasting Malekith and his mothership into oblivion.
I felt it all as I also felt Odin weakening from using his connection to his Godking body to do such a thing. With the Dark Elves dead and destroyed and the city saved, Odin summoned me to his great hall to see Frigga's body.
With a grim face he told me. "Bring her back."
I frowned. "You know I cannot-"
He waved a hand. "I know that is a lie. I can sense your real form. Do not mince words with me boy, I don't care who your real parents are, I want to know what you want to bring her back."
I looked him over before seeing Thor and Jane there both looking sad. I sighed. "I want your word that when you die, your Avatar's body and essence goes to me."
He looked me over before nodding and I held up a hand. "And when Ragnarok comes, I want Surtur. He shall be another of my heralds. As will she, if she agrees. You must not interfere either way, outside or in."
He stilled before setting his jaw and nodding. "So be it."
I sighed. "You'll want to close your eyes for this. My other form is quite bright and I've not used it in a very long time."
I walked before Frigga's body and looked at the room, casting silent expansion charms before my body shifted and grew into a giant green Phoenix. I sang as I spoke to Frigga's soul and shed a tear over her body with all the power of rebirth and lifeforce I could muster.
It dropped on her corpse and her wound healed instantly. My blazing green form shifted back into my human one as I watched her heal and revive in mere moments. I grunted. "She'll live long into eternity now, provided she's not murdered again AllFather."
He nodded sagely and I turned and held up a hand as the Aether formed quickly in it. I'd long since finished solidifying the connection and I'd been getting used to the stone's powers and abilities before. Now that is expended so much lifeforce, there was little reason to keep it with me now.
As it formed, Odin made a box to place it in out of a spelled chunk of Uru. When he finished, I added a spelled chunk of Gradium around that and put the stone inside.
He closed it and said. "You'll find I keep my deals. I'll contact you when I feel it time."
I nodded. "I'll await your call. Now both of us need to recover. We've both expended much this day. I'll not be staying on Asgard as I shall return and watch the convergence before retiring to my own recovery tomorrow."
He nodded. "Fair well then. Son of Gaia."
I smiled. "As wise as ever it seems."
I turned to Jane. "Remember, before you leave, or it won't make you like him. If you do it though, you'll share in all his powers and be named goddess of thunder. His true equal."
She stilled before asking. "What are you?"
I smiled and shook my head. "Only a simple kind of man."
I turned and spoke to Heimdall. "A Bifrost my old friend. I'm weary at the moment and cannot move much these days Heimdall."
There, blatantly in Odin's hall, Heimdall summoned the Bifrost and sent me home to where he'd picked me up. Odin had a sour look and Frigga looked grateful just the same as I waved goodbye and was pulled away.
I landed in Greenwich and there I sat down while calling to my family and Natasha. They all came and she even brought Jessica. I muttered. "We can stay right here for the show. Set up camp and we'll watch the convergence together. Leo, summon Drake from his hunt in Romania. Tell him to bring the werewolves he's found. Tell Blonsky to do the same. I need to feed."
He nodded and orbed away while Piper started setting up magical tents and house elves appeared to help her. For the next day I fed on cursed souls and werewolves while searching their blood and minds for traces on the wolf gods.
The process was not pleasant and Jessica got to see werewolf after werewolf die trying to fight in vain as my symbiote ate them. Their lifeforce went to add to mine, not that I actually needed it as my own lifeforce was eternal or as close to never truly ending as it gets.
Their souls went towards feeding my essence which in fact was a bit depleted from the reality stone as if fed it that to to make the connection solid and unbreakable by others. I now dealt all the stones and with limited results, I could wield their powers or even summon them all to me except the last one I craved the most.
The all stone, the one with the creatures personality and will inside it. I wasn't nearly so brave as to eat them without it or while it still existed as the backlash from using their full power while it wasn't yours as well was suicide.
