Chapter 1: Chapter 1
A young man was currently laying in his bed smoking a cigarette. He took out his phone and started making a phone call.
"Hello, Sheppard here, chancellor of Duel Academy"
"Hello, I would like to enroll at your school."
"Sorry, but applications are closed and exams are currently taking place. So you will have to try next year."
"How much will it take?"
"What?" Sheppard answered the man in a confused tone.
"I asked how much money will you take to enroll me in the school."
"Listen...who am I even talking to first of all?"
"The name is Kai Yuri."
"Listen Mr Yuri, I don't take bribes and we also take students based on merits and skills."
"$10,000."
"...what?"
"I'll pay $50k. I'm pretty sure this money can be useful to your academy." Kai told him.
It took a few second before Sheppard answer back.
"...you will have to do an exam tho."
"And why?"
"The exams are used to determine which dorm a student will be place in."
"Dorm??"
"Yes we have three dorms at the school, Obelisk blue, Slifer red and Ra yellow. Obelisk is at the highest while slifer is at the lowest."
"Interesting system you guys have...but anyways I am not doing those exams."
"Then I will have no choice but to put you in Slifer since I have no clue about your dueling capabilities neither a knowledge about your written exam."
"Fine by me...anyways is there a way you guys use to differentiate which student is from which dorm?"
"Yes we have coloured uniforms matching each dorm colour."
"I am not wearing the slifer red uniform...i hate the colour red. So I am wearing whatever I want."
"I mean there isn't exactly a rule forcing you to wear the red. It just a way to identify the student dorm."
"Fine then...i guess everything is sorted out chancellor."
"Yes. Tomorrow at 8am will be the departure for duel academy. You will have to go at the kaiba dorm. There you will have helicopters that will transport you here."
"Anyways I think you should have gotten the money."
"uhm...ye-" *call ended*
"Oh well i guess tomorrow a new life huh??" It took only a few minutes for him to get the notification that he was accepted at duel academy.
*THE NEXT DAY*
Kai arrived at the Kaiba dorm at around 7.00 a.m on his motorcycle, hoping to reach at a time when there isn't so many students. However to his dismay, almost everybody were already there.
'I guess everyone here is impatient huh....' he sighed.
He looked around him and saw all kind of people. Someone were already in their uniforms, other were dressed normally like him however for some reason he felt as if all the attention was on him...well it was mostly from the girls present there. He could see a lot of the girls there staring at him and giggling among themselves.
"Hey look at this guy, he is kinda hot."
"Yeah look at that physique of his..."
"Oh and also look at his eyes...its so pretty and weird."
"Yeah he has 2 eyes colours...and also a sort of diamond shape mark (kinda like the byakugou seal in naruto)"
"Was this guy here during the practical exam??"
"I don't think so, i would remember such a pretty face."
"Yeah you are right this guy wasn't present during the exam yesterday then what is he doing here?"
"Yeah..."
'Great that was all that was missing huh....'
"Excuse me young man."
"Yes..."
"I am Dr Vellian Crowler, head teacher at duel academy, can i see your administration letter?"
"Sure doc." He said while taking out his phone and showed him his notification.
"Is there any problem doc??"
"Uhm...no...everything is fine." Crowler responded.
"So??"
"You are free to go."
"Thank you."
He sighed and went to take a sit.
It took nearly 1hr and 35 min before they said his name and which helicopter to take.
When he got on board, he was a little bit surprised to say the least, most of the students were obelisk blue students.
He took a random seat and hoped no-one would disturb him.
*First person POV*
"Hey excuse me, what's your name?"
"Kai. What's yours?"
"Oh I am Mindy and this is Jasmine."
"Hey~" Jasmine responded.
"And this one is Alexis....Alexis Rhodes. She was one of the best duelist at Duel Prep school."
"Sup." I said towards Alexis.
"Hey."
"So you guys are all from duel preps huh?"
"Yeah we are all from duel preps. How about you?"
"No."
"Oh so this is the first time you are going to a dueling school."
"Yeah."
"Oh trust me you will enjoy it a lot. It's quite fun." Jasmine answered.
We kept talking to each other for the next hour until we finally reached duel academy.
