A TURNING POINT
He came out with haste written all over his body. I was so curious to ask him why he was acting strange and what is really the problem with him. "What's the matter with you? Why are you acting as if you and someone had some issues in there?" I asked. "Never mind, okay, just forget about it. Let's just go to the restaurant and eat immediately," he replied.
I had to just respect him and quit the conversation. I entered his car and we drove off. Really, I don't know our main destination. I only trusted him and followed him to wherever he wanted. As we went further, suddenly our car broke down on the road and we were left stranded. I felt really annoyed. We both were Left aside on the road with no help. "What would we do now? What is really wrong with the car now?" I asked. "I don't know for now, but I serviced the car a week ago so I don't really think the car should have any problem now," Asher replied.
They both stood by their side without saying anything to themselves Asher looked to his right while Sally by her left. They both acted and if there were any issues between the two of them as they were stranded and no one saying anything to anyone Asher decided to bring up a conversation between both of them. At first, he didn't know what to do, so he decided to start from a tricky way. "What really is the difficulty with this car, and now I would have no good as I am starving, and I have nothing to eat. What would I do now since there is nothing to do? We both would just have to stay here the whole day" he said.
Meanwhile, Sally tried to endure it, but she couldn't because she needed to eat. She was also hungry, so she decided to talk back to Asher. "What do you really mean by we both would have to stay here, to be honest? I am starving, and your decisions are not helping any matters, you have to do something about this. I want you to have some rest. "Hmm well if you are starving I think you have to trek to the restaurant so you can have some food" Asher replied.
"What really is the problem with you, you have to bring up a good decision here, not making everything worse. I don't understand what really is the matter with you, say something reasonable okay not acting as if you are right In everything" Sally said. "Okay to be frankly speaking I don't really have a good Idea for this, but I think I have a partner who have to support me in critical time like this so what do you want us to do now you can share your thought with me if it's okay we would go with it so what do you think about it" Asher Said.
"What do you want me to day when you are not even helping matters at hand I am the lady here, and you are the man it always ladies first okay, I don't have anything to say what I have today here is the am I starving and I want to eat okay so it's either you take me to the restaurant or you go get something for me to eat" Sally explained? "Ohh you expect me to follow your orders, I don't see that coming at any time for your information we are still on a contract okay" immediately Asher said those words to her Sally felt ashamed, and she went at the side of the car quitting the discussion with Asher. Meanwhile, Asher who noticed her move knew that there was a problem with her and the cause of it were his words he felt pity for her and thought of consoling her but on a second thought, he wasn't bold enough to talk to her, he decided to let her be for the moment before disturbing her.
Some seconds after Asher got a buzz of vibration on his phone which made him notice that he had a call on his phone so he brought his mobile phone out from his pocket and looked at it, he saw that it was the head police officer. "Hello sir," Asher answered. " I am calling to inform you about the victim's case. Well, the case has been settled, and finally, we have confirmed everything and the result went positive. You can come over and pick him up and warn him to stay out of drug dealing", the officer said. "Okay I will do as you said, have a nice day sir" Asher said and cut the call. Asher, who wanted to talk to Sally but didn't know how to, then had the opportunity to talk to her about the positive news about her brother. Meanwhile, Sally heard their conversation but didn't know what his conversation with the officer was, she was also craving to know their conversation.
"I want to tell you about the conversation I had with the officer right now," Asher said in a low voice. "And what could that be?" Sally drew closer as she was interested in knowing everything. "Well your brother has been released now okay, so I have done my part of the deal, so I think you should now thank me" Asher said. "Yes of course, thank you so much. I greatly appreciate your effort," she said with the happiest moment of her life. "But you should warn him dearly to stay out of drugs. Okay, just tell him to mind his ways if he wants to stay out of trouble," Asher said. "No problem I will do as you say okay" she said and gave him a warm hug.
"Okay, let's think how to fix this car ourselves because if we wait here the whole day, Maybe we won't even find anyone to repair it for us. Do it better, we just figure a way out'' Asher said. Asher went back into his car and tried to boot it again, and finally, it started. They drove to the restaurant and bought the food and went back to the station to pick Luke up.
