Meera's POV

I ran out making sure to close the door behind me. Aunt Samara shouldn't see this man or know he was outside. I don't know how he was able to track me down after we agreed never to see each other again but he has got to go. Now!

"You?!" I scowled.

"What the hell are you doing here!" I said in a hushed loud voice.

He looked just as confused and surprised as I did which didn't make sense at all but either way, he has a lot of explaining to do.

"What are you doing here?" He asked with almost the same tone I used earlier. "This is the 4th floor right?" He added looking back down the corridor toward the elevator.

I was getting fairly impatient with his dumb act as I responded with, "How is that relevant to you being here right now!" My voice could no longer maintain its hushed tone.
