The Lake of Four Waters was where four rivers met. Thus, its surface was always covered with roaring waves. However, underneath the surface of the water was a complete calmness. Amidst these strange rocks, there was a deep trench that stretched tens of miles long, measured nearly one mile from edge to edge, and plunged one hundred miles straight down. The catfish-flood-dragon's cave was built in one of the underwater cave found in this deep trench.
