Void, now known by his character name, smiled in satisfaction. He looked at his body and felt the surging power within him. Void was addicted to the sensation. Compared to his weak human body, he felt like he could easily destroy a skyscraper.
"Crack... Crack... Boom!"
The sound of multiple eggs cracking echoed as demons of all sizes emerged from their shells. Void could be considered the first hatchling. Like him, the players who had transformed into demons were initially confused. However, the quick-witted ones looked around and began eating their shells.
Void watched the increasing number of hatchlings in amazement. Dragons, giant subspecies of titans, goat-faced demons, tiger-bodied demons—a variety of forms surrounded him. Yet, they all shared one common feature: horns, wings, and tails.
As he looked around, Void caught a whiff of something exquisite. The scent made his body urge him to find and devour it. It smelled so divine that he nearly lost control, saliva dripping from his mouth. Void initially thought he was the only one affected until he heard beastly growls from his comrades. Relieved, he asked the nearest demon, "Where is it?"
"Aargk, meyotison..."
"Fuck," Void cursed, annoyed at the incomprehensible response. "I forgot—alien language," he muttered. Void expected some universal language converter to enable communication, but he wasn't in a position to complain.
The source of the tantalizing scent wasn't far. It came from a glowing bubble floating atop an unhatched shell.
Void couldn't resist the temptation. He rushed toward it along with the others. Being the closest, he reached it first and instinctively devoured it.
{Ding... One soul consumed.}
"Soul?" Void muttered in confusion. However, he didn't have time to dwell on it; the other demons now looked at him like predators eyeing prey. Even the closest demon—the one who had spoken nonsense earlier—glared at him in anger.
Annoyed, Void snarled, "Brother, I thought we were together!" He swiped his claw at the demon in frustration.

The demon's head was severed, and blood sprayed out. Void felt nothing about his first kill and didn't waste time thinking about it. He quickly consumed the demon's soul, savoring its taste. Unconsciously, he began walking toward the other demons.
"What... you wanna die too?" Void asked, his tone dripping with menace. The surrounding demons backed away, but before he could make another move, the loli fairy reappeared.
"Oh, I see one of you has adapted to his role as a demon," she said with a smile.
"Alright, not to waste your time, I'll explain a few things. The floating bubble you saw earlier was a soul. Strong creatures can naturally see these, and you demons devour them to improve your stats. By killing, you also gain experience points to level up. Currently, you're Rank 0 existences—the lowest of the low. After reaching Level 100, you'll undergo an advancement mission to ascend to a new, stronger rank. As demons, your mission is to destroy worlds. Don't worry, your original world isn't part of this universe."
The fairy loli continued, "Check your stats screen. You'll see rankings for your planet, galaxy, and universe. Rank 0 to Rank 2 existences are shown in the planet ranking. Rank 3 to Rank 5 are in the galaxy ranking, and Rank 6 and above are in the universe ranking."
"Using a specific planet as a guide," she paused and winked at Void before continuing, "there are also universal, galaxy, planet, and regional servers. These allow you to chat and trade with others. To prevent overcrowding, you must reach specific ranks to access certain servers. For now, only the planet and regional servers are open to you. Enjoy yourselves and kill to your heart's content. Remember, your goal is to destroy this universe. I hope to see you in the future, server 358,128,880,236."
With that, the fairy disappeared.
Everyone was silent for a moment before determination lit their eyes.

"You heard her—kill!" a massive demon, five meters tall, bellowed before attacking the nearest demon. As if on cue, chaos erupted.
Void opened his stats and saw a notification.

The message caused the demons to pause before launching into an even bloodier massacre. With only three hours left, everyone sought to grow stronger.
The magma near the beach boiled and surged, instantly disintegrating a fallen demon's body. The sight caused nearby demons to retreat, making the island more crowded and intensifying the killing spree.
Void, unwilling to be outdone, accelerated his slaughter.
