Chapter 109: CHAPTER 109: FRIENDS MEETING

Two days later, Briar was smiling as she looked at her reflection in the mirror, applying lipstick to her lips.

She was in a good mood and couldn't contain it at all.

Her hair had grown a bit, and she was no longer bald. In a week or so, her hair should be long enough to allow her to plait box braids.

She was tired of wearing wigs. Thankfully, her mother-in-law hadn't dragged her to another banquet, otherwise, the fear of having that wig falling all the time would taunt her always.

After making sure that her face looked good, she picked the wig and put it on. She had gotten accustomed to wearing the wig, especially when going out. She didn't dare lose face for her family.

After a change of clothes and everything, she picked up her handbag before walking out of the bedroom.
