HEATH'S EYES widened at the sudden and unexpected presence of the bird. It was just yesterday he had placed it to watch over Luella. What was it then doing back here?

He opened the window and the anxious bird flew in. It wasted no time and began tweeting and chirping everything that had happened.

"Wait! Wait!! Wait!!!" Heath interrupted, not understanding anything it was saying. "Slow down and start all over again" 

The bird paused and started again. While they conversed, Brant just stared at them. 

'The crown prince speaks bird language?' He wondered.

"WHAT!! FIRE?!" Heath repeated after the bird. And it tweeted in his response at the same time nodding its small round head. 

"You know what caused it?" He pressed for more information.
