A look of mild surprise crossed my face; my face was lit with a hint of shock as I arched my eyebrows slightly, and my jaw dropped open, and my mouth hung agape. I was flabbergasted, stunned, astonished, and I couldn't believe my ears.

"This has to be an insane joke," I told myself, staring at her silently, waiting for her to tell me she was only pulling my legs, and all this was a joke. I was already rendered speechless by her confession and was finding it hard to assimilate what she had just said, but with the way she watched me silently, I could tell that this was no joke.
