Chapter 57: Shit, this can't be true

The rain continued to fall heavily throughout the city of Ignes. The powerful currents of the Blood River looked as if they could wash away everything.

In the middle of that turbulent river, Theo stuck his head out, breathing air into his lungs. He was enduring all the blows from the timbers and other elements carried by the river.

If he were an average person, he would have long since died, but being a Player, he had endured all this, even though his stamina quickly wore down due to the raging currents.

But Theo had no regrets about throwing himself into the river; It was the best option he had been able to think of in the short time he had. It was obvious to him that, with his current abilities, there was nothing more he could do.

'Now I have to figure out how to get out of this river,' he thought.
