"No... Your majesty..." The young girl stammered but Brisbois didn't wait for her to finish what she wanted to say. He stood up from his throne making the girl to raise her head and stare into those killer eyes with an innocent look.
Brisbois threw the piece of fabric aside and said,
"How disrespectful! You can't even answer a simple question." Brisbois' voice was low but it sounded dangerous. He stared at the trembling girl with a dark look and took out his knife from its scabbard.
The knife glistened in the little light of the room which made it to look dangerous and poignant because of the many souls that it had severed.
The girl's grip on the silver plate loosened and she squirmed slowly on the floor as if she wanted to escape from this room but the energy was not there.
She tried to stand up, with her weak knees but fell each time, as she did this, Brisbois followed her quietly while the old man watched the proceedings as if he was not a part of it.
"You want to stand, right? Let me help you." Brisbois shortened the distance between him and the girl and clutched the neck of the girl with his left hand and slowly by slowly, he lifted the girl up until her legs hang in the air.
"So... Tell me, what do I do? I have the design of the cement plant, the process of manufacturing cement, vehicles and the weapons, the information is so much detailed, I have money and so much resources but I can't come up with any of these technologies. What is that that I am missing? I want these technologies for myself right now! Tell me young girl, what do I do?" Brisbois stared darkly at the girl as he asked her.
The weak hands of the young girl tried to remove the hold around her neck but she was unsuccessful in her weak attempts. She struggled to breath as her body swayed around but the grasp around her neck was firm like steel.
"Are you not going to reply?" Brisbois' grip around the girl's neck tightened as if he wanted to squash the little neck of the young girl. He grinned while doing this as if he enjoyed every moment of it.
"Eeerm, your majesty... Let me correct myself. I know we don't have experts in our kingdom but what if we abduct some of them from the kingdom of Azuhai? We will then be successful with our projects, right?" The old man with a crooked back suggested.
King Brisbois' grip around the neck of the girl loosened a little but he didn't release the girl. His knife dangled in his right hand as it readied itself to sever the pitiful existance out of the young girl at any moment.
He thought for a moment and nodded his head before releasing his grip from the neck of the girl.
The girl fell down and coughed so much before a knight appeared out of the shadows and carried the young girl out.
"We will not only abduct their experts to work for us, but we will also sent our young brains to learn from them..." The old man wanted to continue but Brisbois raised his hand to silence him.
He walked slowly to his throne and sat down.
His silver eyes darted around dangerously and then he returned his knife to its scabbard and said,
"Magyo kingdom is not Litkesh. Send a message to Catalina telling her to get all the data of this new knowledge for us. We can cultivate our own experts by ourselves but your idea about abducting some expertise from Azuhai is not bad, we will have to do with their experts for now."
Clearly, Brisbois would have invaded Azuhai a long time ago but preparing for war took a long time and before he had even struck Azuhai, he heard that they had made a very dangerous weapon. How could Brisbois be calm? He also wanted to manufacture those weapons since he had the design manual that he procured from his daughter Catalina.
Anyway, the reactions about the invention of cement was different not only in the three kingdoms surrounding Azuhai, but also in the entire Southern continent, after all, information spread faster than the movement of people especially if the said information was groundbreaking and phenomenal.
Pollow cement was selling most of its cement to the foreign merchants since there were not that many projects that would need more cement either in Whiddiff city or Azuhai kingdom as a whole, at least not now.
"I have been pushing this project forward and postponing it, but it has now reached at a point where I can no longer ignore or avoid it... It is about time to fabricate the steam engines and steam powered vehicles." Virtya said to Tanya enthusiastically. His eyes gleamed with determination as he safely kept the design manuals of the steam engine and the steam powered vehicles into his leather suitcase. He stretched his arm and picked up his top hat before wearing it.
With a smile, he stood up with the suitcase in his arms and walked out if his office together with Tanya.
