Zhu Zhuyun felt somewhat embarrassed, as she certainly knew what Xu Ran was referring to. She had her worries before, about her body developing too voluptuously compared to other girls her age, and she had tried everything to suppress and hinder her growth, but nothing worked.

"The injuries are almost all healed. You see me standing right in front of you, untouched, what could possibly be wrong?" Xu Ran shrugged his shoulders.

"I don't believe it. You have to let me see the wound for myself," Zhu Zhuyun still seemed worried.

"All right, the wound is here," Xu Ran gestured downwards.

"Oh." Zhu Zhuyun, anxious, didn't notice the playful look in Xu Ran's eyes and, preoccupied with concern, only wanted to check Xu Ran's injury. When she unbuckled his belt, her complexion instantly flushed, realizing something was amiss.

Xu Ran was clearly teasing her; who gets wounded there, anyway?

Even if Xu Ran was highly skilled, a cut in that particular spot would have likely spelled the end for him.

"Stinky Xu Ran, you're terrible, I won't deal with you anymore. You just know how to bully people," Zhu Zhuyun felt utterly embarrassed and turned to run away, but Xu Ran quickly captured her.

"Don't go, my treasure Zhu Yun; I've missed you," Xu Ran kissed her on the face.

"Ran Di, you're so bad. Didn't we agree to go out for fun? And you still bully her," Zhu Zhuyun's face was tinged with a blush as she looked at Xu Ran with tender affection.

"Then let's go. I want to take you out. I haven't had a chance to really look around and appreciate the scenery of Spirit City since I've been here," Xu Ran said with a smile, holding Zhu Yun from behind. Zhu Yun remained as sensible and manageable as always, and her body was still pleasantly soft to the touch.

"I'm scared of you now. You wouldn't be thinking of taking me..." Zhu Zhuyun said with a laugh, her face reddening. Xu Ran, that rogue, had only just arrived to see her and was already like that.

"Am I that kind of person?"

"Just now, I just couldn't help myself since I haven't seen you for so many days. I definitely won't now. I am quite compassionate, after all. How could I keep bullying you?" Xu Ran shook his head; such an upright man he was, he certainly wouldn't take Zhu Yun out for anything improper.

Xu Ran was so formidable, she couldn't stand against him.

"Hmm. I'll take you out to see the scenery and lighten your mood," Xu Ran said as he picked up Zhu Zhuyun around her slender waist and shot up toward the sky.

"Wow, Xu Ran, you've grown so much stronger," Zhu Zhuyun said in amazement as she looked down at the ground, quite excited. Xu Ran had taken her flying before, but back then, he wasn't very strong. Flying with Zhu Zhuyun, the wind was so strong around them that it was difficult for her to keep her eyes open, and she dared not look around.

But now, Xu Ran's strength had increased tremendously. Holding Zhu Zhuyun in the air, they were able to hover calmly, enjoying the view below where people came and went, and the vastness of Spirit City stretched out beneath them.

"From up here, Spirit City seems so tiny," Zhu Zhuyun said happily. From this height, everything seemed so much smaller, yet the distance down to the ground was immensely vast, endlessly impressive and without borders.

"It's not just Spirit City; even Soul Land is minuscule in comparison. One day, I will stand with you at the summit of this world, and we will look upon the truly different sceneries that lie beyond," Xu Ran declared grandly. Not even the Divine Realm could halt his advance. He planned to use Soul Land as a steppingstone to conquer countless worlds, taking every beauty into his embrace.

I smell, I see, I conquer.

"I believe in you," Zhu Zhuyun said softly. Xu Ran was no ordinary man; he had created countless miracles, shattered numerous impossibilities. She believed he was capable of anything.

But what was Xu Ran doing?

Zhu Zhuyun cast a playful glare at Xu Ran; the guy seemed to be quite enjoying himself while holding her in the air. Moreover, his arms had strayed to places they shouldn't, which made her all the more bashful and annoyed.
