Chapter 68: CHAPTER 68: "Family Challenges Together"
As Jay and Narah turned to face each other, Narah simply smiled before divertIng her gaze towards the table. Meanwhile, Jay grabbed a glass jar of water and poured it into a glass, offering it to Narah. She hesitated for a moment, showing signs of refusal, before excusing herself and leaving the room. DD, Mrs Royce, and Aunt exchanged puzzled glances, wondering what was wrong with her. Surprisingly, instead of heading upstairs to her room, Narah returned to the living room. Observing her actions, Jay and other's exchanged uncertain gestures, unsure of het intentions.
Narah entered the dining room carrying the idol of a deity. She positioned herself infront of the table and announced, "l would like everyone to receive the Lord's blessings". She walked around the room, offering blessings to each family member. Once completed, she instructed Ramesh took it away, Narah addressed the family, "Seeing everyone happy like this, l don't want to shatter your hopes. As a family, we always stand together". She continued, "Since Annika and my brother got married without knowing each other, it's evident they need to start dating and getting to know each other better. Without confessing their feelings, there can be no love. Therefore, we must help them confess their feelings and support their relationship".
At that moment, Rohit and Patrick appeared, expressing their willingness to assist in their friends' relationship. Narah resumed her conversation, expressing her willingness to assist, and Rohit and Patrick joined in, emphasizing the importancd of family support. Patrick laid his hand on the table open , glancing at everyone. "So, would you want to support us?" he asked.
DD, who was close to Patrick, reached out and jokingly touched Patrick's ear. "Should l pinch you?" she teased. Before Patrick could respond, DD exclaimed, "Of course, l'm in," placing her hand on Patrick's palm. Aunt Maya placed her hand on Patrick's cheek and jokingly asked, Would you like me to give you a slap?" Laughing, she added,"Of course, you silly boy, l'm in," placing her hand on top of DD's hand. Mrs Royce chimed in, "Would you like a tight slap?Much better than your aunt's, of course, " affirming her support. Jay simply put his hand on top, followed by Narah and Rohit, as everyone affirmed their commitment to each other and their collective goal. After their exclamations, they removed their hands, regaining their composure .
