"Qiaoqiao, I'm fine now, I'm heading back, and I'll pick you up at the train station tomorrow, so you can hang up first."
"Wait a minute, make yourself clear."
"Clear about what?"
"What do you mean by asking me to visit your office? You haven't been harassed by someone, have you?" she said, and then burst out laughing.
Lu Yichen said through gritted teeth, "Are you still laughing?"
"Alright, I'll stop laughing. I trust you can handle it. It's getting late; head back."
After hanging up the phone, Luo Qiao chuckled to herself. She looked around and, fortunately, there was no one nearby, so she stuck her head into the courtyard and called out, "Uncle Sun, the call has ended, I'm going back."
Uncle Sun was just coming out from the main room towards her, "Alright, go back. It's getting dark; be careful."
As Luo Qiao walked towards the exit, she called back, "Okay, see you, Uncle Sun."
Once back, she told her grandparents, "Grandpa, Grandma, I'm going back to Ji City tomorrow."
