Chapter 48: A Strange Vision

"... Hmm?" 

While looking after the rowdy Void Acolytes, Azel felt a little bit fuzzy and decided to take a short nap. She already instructed the five Void Acolytes to be non-hostile to anything for the time being per Yroa's instruction that was delivered through long-range wind manipulation spell.

Now, she somehow found herself in a blank black space where there was nothing but herself and the vibrant glow beneath her feet.

"Did I cast a dream-related spell on myself?" Azel tried to pinch herself, it hurt as if it was the real deal. "Did I get transported? Or is this another case of a lucid dream? Surprisingly, I can't control the shape and the world of this one."

Unsure of what this dream actually meant or what she needed to do, Azel mindlessly walked to whatever her feet brought her.

It wasn't the best kind of action but it was surely better than standing still.
