After the intense battle in that icy lake, Zenith and Emi spent another couple of hours getting some more AP and killing random monsters.

By the time they were done, Emi had leveled up and Zenith had gotten fairly close.

"You sure you want to focus on your Speed that much? Don't you think getting your damage higher is worth it?" Zenith asked as they walked down the street. 

"I'm not gonna do much damage to the enemies we're fighting regardless," Emi shrugged. "I may as well make sure I'm fast enough to avoid getting killed."
