Chapter 384: To her rescue

Ari pushed the man away and turned on her feet to escape from him. But she didn't get too far as Samuel caught up to her and then pushed her on the ground. 

His fingers found her neck as he shoved Ari's face on the ground. His fingers squeezed her neck harshly until Ari found it impossible to breathe. 

"You truly have some nerve. To think you will pull a stunt like this again, even when you know that it will only make things difficult for you," Samuel whispered in her ears. 

"Let go—AHHH!!" Ari screamed in pain when Samuel pressed the knee of his leg on her back while twisting her arm painfully. The more she struggled, the more he twisted her arm. 

Ari stopped struggling as she feared that this man would break her arm. She bit her lips, pain etched on every inch of her face. 

With her arm twisted behind at an inhuman angle, her eyes started to glisten with tears. Even the smallest movement resulted in more twisting.
