Chapter 57: No turning back

"I don't mean to be stating the obvious," Charm said, "but why are you folks just standing there."

"This was supposed to be the halfway point for meeting up with the other team.

Answered a female spirit warrior with spiky pink hair, she continued to speak,

"As you can see they are not here and none of them are responding to calls."

Another spirit warrior chipped in, "something has happened to them and these guys are understandably scared to go any further."

That warrior looked at the team with disgust in his eyes. 

Charm never sensed that there was dissent amongst the spirit warriors before they always looked united in her eyes. 

It was interesting to see that this unity was just a facade and like any other group of people from different backgrounds being flung together they had internal problems of their own.

"Calm down, everyone," said peacemaker Miguel, the voice of reason, "now is not the time to fight."
