Sarah's POV:
I was angry throughout the drive as I sat behind Josh. Anthony kept stealing glances at me through the rearview mirror, and every time he did, I made sure to frown more.
Soon he parked the car in front of a huge mall. "I will be back," Anthony said before leaving.
"Don't be angry, mother." Josh grabbed my hand with those tiny hands of his, and I smiled at him.
"You know, my friend Pichoo... He had lost his mother two years ago, and his dad found a new girlfriend from the US," Josh explained, I felt bad for the kid; it must be so painful to lose a parent.
"And today is his birthday; his dad didn't plan anything for it. This event was organized by his dad's girlfriend; I think she is so kind."
I brushed his hair with my hands. "Do you know what happens when you are kind?" I questioned.
"You receive appreciation and are loved by everyone."
