Chapter 49: You're Annoying

Since the inn that their group was staying at was quite small, Shirley and Charlotte had to sleep in the same room. 

Shirley could see how happy Charlotte was right now. Shirley thought that it was because she had been with Noah all day. 

"Your face doesn't look scared anymore," Shirley said, quite annoyed by Charlotte's constant smiling. 

"I'd only be scared if Noah was around, that way he'd care about me!" Charlotte giggled as she thought back to her closeness with Noah today. 

"You sneaky bastard! All you think about is Noah? We could have died earlier," Shirley replied, feeling something was wrong in Charlotte's head. 

It wasn't surprising for someone like Charlotte, Shirley even believed that she was really scared earlier when their carriage had a problem. 

But, after seeing how she reacted this time Shirley no longer felt any sympathy for her.
