Chapter 48: Is It Really an Incident?

At first the journey that Shirley and the others took went well, until when they were out of Marquess Estelle's territory, the carriage that they were travelling in experienced some problems. 

When she felt the carriage start to sway, but not to the best as before, Shirley quickly asked Payne who was with her what was wrong. 

"Payne, what's going on?" Shirley called Payne from inside the carriage, not daring to open the door. 

Noah as the owner of the carriage also immediately called his bodyguard. Meanwhile, Charlotte, who was frightened, only put her hand to hug Noah's arm. 

"We can't continue our journey, the wheels of this carriage are damaged and need to be repaired." The two guards reported the same thing to Noah and Shirley. 

Shirley and Noah looked at each other, feeling that this wasn't an ordinary occurrence.
