Ariana's muscles burned as she delivered powerful blows to the punching bag, feeling the impact on her knuckles and her arms. She kicked the training dummy with all her strength, feeling the force in her legs and her feet. She moved around it with all her agility, sweat dripping down her forehead and her back.

Liam and Mia had returned to their pack, but Ethan and Ariana were still not in speaking terms. He was still angry and hurt by her plea for Liam, and he couldn't shake off the feeling that she still cared for him. He felt betrayed and insecure, and he didn't want to listen to her explanations or apologies.
