Damien's face was grim when he had left the hall. His eyes sunken and dark and dark clouds loomed over his head. Any wise man would know that he was off limits for a conversation.
Even the knights guarding the passage held his breath when he passed them. But there was a group of men completely fearless when it comes to Damien.
The representative from the church bishop Abraham stood in front of him with a smile on his face.
"Your grace, do you have a minute to spare." Damien's face hardened and his eyes glowed with a dark and sinister light. But Abraham held his ground. His eyes looked cold though he never lost that smile over his face.
"It is urgent or I would have never come to meet you personally." The tone changed to a dark one though his smile only grew and the voice was so soft as if he was chanting a hymn for himself. Others could not listen but Damien was not others.
