Chapter 14: Chapter 14: A Lycan in the Woods

I ran my fingers through my hair in frustration and Randale moved over to stand next to me. “Care for a drink?” he whispered. 

“Let's go,” I commanded. 

We left my chambers and drove out of the castle. Headed to the town, accompanied by the security team and bodyguards, we arrived at our local drinking bar. I would normally be happy to be there but the thunderous look on my face made everyone scared to approach me. Randale sat majestically as usual with one leg crossed over the other while the waiter served us the drinks and rushed off in a hurry. 

“Felicia did that on purpose you know,” Randale snapped. “But since when do you care about the little prince?” 

I tsked and laughed. “Since I married him.” 

“You have changed, Kloud,” Randale observed. 

“I realized it when the rogues attacked,” I confessed, taking a swig from the cold beverage.

“You must have a plan.” Randale smirked. 

I shook my head and we both laughed. “This is new for me.”
