Chapter 310: He Can’t Control Himself
After the cooking class ended, Ren and his group walked slowly towards the classroom.
"Kamikawa, I heard from Vigne that heavy rain is expected tonight. You've finished teaching them. Remember to go back early."
As they walked on the street, Gabriel suddenly remembered what Vigne had said in the cooking class and gave him instructions.
"Okay."
Ren nodded, indicating that he understood.
"Is it going to rain heavily tonight?" Fumino also heard what Gabriel said.
"Yes, you've finished tutoring; you should go home early," Gabriel yawned, "Just in case you can't go home because of heavy rain."
"I understand." Fumino tried her best to smile.

Night.
"The wind is getting strong. It seems like there will be heavy rain."
After the tutoring session, on the way home, Fumino felt the wind blowing against her face and sighed softly.
"Right, we should head back soon. We didn't bring an umbrella. It would be bad if we get soaked in the rain."
Saying that, Asumi quickened her pace.
"If it rains, I won't be able to deliver the food to take home," Rizu thought about this issue.
Ren remained silent, just maintaining his pace.
"In that case, I'll head home first. See you tomorrow."
When it was time to bid farewell, Fumino waved enthusiastically to them, then ran into the alley and disappeared from their sight.
After a while, Asumi and Rizu also left one by one, leaving only Ren.
He looked up at the sky and noticed that the day had become much darker. It seemed like heavy rain was imminent. However, Ren not only didn't quicken his pace home but instead slowed down and even chose a longer route.
Perhaps for others, facing imminent heavy rain without an umbrella would mean hurrying home. However, for him, someone with superpowers, heavy rain meant nothing.
Even if it started raining, he was only thinking of returning rather than going back immediately.
Observing pedestrians rushing on the street, Ren found it quite interesting.
But after walking for a while, he saw a girl with blue hair standing next to a shop, enjoying takoyaki with a satisfied expression on her face, which was in stark contrast to her surroundings.
This girl with blue hair was none other than Fumino, who had recently bid him farewell and said she wanted to go home.
As if aware that someone was watching, Fumino raised her head, glanced in his direction, and immediately realized that Ren was standing not far from her.
"Ka-Kamikawa-san, why are you here?"
Realizing that she had been spotted by him, Fumino looked very confused.
"I came here for a walk," Ren finished explaining, then asked, "How about you?"
He clearly remembered that Fumino had said she wanted to go home, not out to eat.
"I... I stopped by to buy something."
After thinking for a moment, Fumino found a reason for herself.
"Oh." Ren didn't suspect that she was lying.
To change the subject, Fumino pointed to the takoyaki in her hand and asked, "Um... Kamikawa-san, would you like to try takoyaki? The takoyaki here is really delicious."
"Okay," Ren agreed.
Normally, he wouldn't refuse an invitation like this.
So Fumino took the skewer and picked up takoyaki, intending to hand the skewer to Ren so he could eat it.
"Thank you."
When Ren saw her actions, he understood something, so he lowered his head and ate the takoyaki she gave him in one gulp.
"Eh?"
Seeing his actions, Fumino froze, looking at the skewer in her hand.
Did this count as feeding takoyaki to Ren?
Judging by the result, it should be true.
"No, you're welcome."
A few moments later, Fumino realized and responded unconsciously; at the same time, she also skewered a piece of takoyaki with the skewer and put it in her mouth.
"Kamikawa-san, aren't you going home? You're still out for a walk." Fumino wanted to dispel her embarrassment now, so she brought up the topic of walking again.
"It's okay; it'll take a while for the rain to come," Ren confidently said.
As he finished speaking, heavy rain began to fall.
"Wow, it's raining. Kamikawa-san, run!"
Seeing the rain, Fumino didn't care and just pulled Ren and ran away.
"Phew... Finally safe."
Entering a dessert shop, Fumino breathed a sigh of relief.
Fortunately, there was a dessert shop nearby, and she could go in to take shelter from the rain; otherwise, they might have ended up like drowned rats.
Although it was heavy rain, they didn't get soaking wet because they ran so fast.
After finding a seat in the dessert shop, Fumino took the menu and prepared to order.
"Kamikawa-san, I'm here to treat you. Let's eat an extra-large parfait together! This one is only 3,500 yen—"
Saying this, Fumino eagerly took the menu and prepared to ask for Ren's opinion.
But when she looked over there, she saw Ren taking off his glasses and slowly wiping the rain off the lenses with a tissue, looking very focused.
Suddenly, all her attention was on Ren's eyes, and the unfinished words stuck in her mouth.
"Can."
After hearing her question, Ren raised his head and agreed.
Since Fumino had already seen his true form, she didn't need to hide anything; she just took them off and wiped them.
"In that case, Kamikawa-san, do you need anything else?"
Fumino quickly realized, casually ordering a hot drink for herself and handing the menu to Ren.

After taking the menu, Ren put his glasses aside and read the menu slowly.
Anyway, Fumino was the only one here now, so there was no need to rush to put on glasses.
Seeing Ren sitting in front of her without glasses, Fumino really wanted to stop staring at him all the time; it was too rude.
