Chapter 85: Whatever the Future Brings

Later that evening when the family sat down for dinner, Tuzi and Yin were happily chattering away. The two women found some really cute wedding decorations at the marketplace, and were busy showing them off to the blacksmith. Each was shooting off a million words to him at once, but it seemed like nothing penetrated his head.

His mind was entirely elsewhere.

Finally, tired of feeling ignored, Yin smacks her palm down onto the family table. The loud noise it creates caused both Tuzi and Feng to jump up on their seats, as they gazed wide-eyed at the older woman.

"Why did you do that?!" Feng griped, feeling a bit grouchy at being suddenly pulled out of his haze.
