Neil sitting in the armchair looked up and his heart sank, surprise written all over his face.
He mumbled under his breath, "Not again!"
His lips were zipped in a thin line, quite displeased upon the arrival of the girl.
"What are you doing here?" Neil asked with a poker-faced expression.
"Oh, I was looking for you for dinner," she replied nervously, tucking some loose hair strands behind her ear.
Neil rubbed his temple, and muttered to himself, "Who let in this idiot here… Oh God!"
"It's okay, if you are busy, I'll come back later." The girl replied pensively.
She read the room before leaving, and was about to turn, when she saw someone familiar.
Her eyes twinkled and a ray of hope ignited, that she had the chance to stay longer and boldly sparked a conversation.
"Excuse me gentleman," she looked in Chris' way and called.
